It has been fun to read but it's funny now how much the guy is backpedalling trying to say he wasn't creating drama when his first few posts were all CAPITALISED POINTS and dissing the band, lol.

have you talked to anyone lately? you have any good news? it does not look pretty from where i am sitting. this is what has me troubled it would be a major downer if our band does not continue what it started. thats all i am saying . we need to remember we are all CKY FANS and that is our common bond. we all want the same thing. and that is a new CKY record that is everything it has the potential to be. then see the band finaly enjoy the major exposure they have always deserved. everyone in the deron camp wants him to be free to do what he wants. but if that IS at the expense of the future of CKY would you feel differently ? from what i understand HE has pitted the bands against each other even if just by the nature of such relationships. someone said he should be able to do the two bands he loves. but what if this is like dating two girls (sorry for the weak analogy) and the long time girlfriend wants her time. SHE is putting money on the table and the other chick is the one you need to spend on.

thats cool ....i hope everyone understands we all want the same thing. there is no point in getting all belligerent when we can try to explain our points of view with rational thought . the alliance should be just that. a place to learn from each other and get into heated debate if thats what needs to be done. i would love to hear deron give a full breakdown of his side in all of this. his right and ability to have a side project that totaly kicks ass is perfectly cool with me. it is just the timing of his venture that dosent jive with me. while there is a CKY record to get down on "wax" he has been in persuit of "greater things" with WUB. if what i understand is off base ...DERON please.....let us all know where your allegiance lies. personally i am a "follow the money" type ........there is way more $$$$$$ potential in a new CKY release. so unless the WUB dudes are independently wealthy or get out on the road soon i dont see how anyone is paying their mortgage .

A question I've always wondered and never got answered on Ask Cky: do the guys have jobs outside of the band(s)? Does Cky provide enough income for them to live off of, or do they have to work on the side?

Not that it matters in anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knew.

i dont think WUB sounds like Killswitch, or else theyd sound more like swedish death metal cuz KSE copies that style. i think WUB sounds like a less fusiony Pestilence "spheres", and obviously a more metal CKY

I have no info to base this off of but I am positive they don't have to work other jobs for income. Bands like My Dying Bride have to but then they only do like 2 tour dates a year, lol. Good question though!

The people who think Deron having this side project is a bit iffy, how do you feel about Jess and The Company Band/Viking Skull? Genuinely curious.

I like the fact that they go out of the box and play with other bands and other people so there not 1 dimensional. It's good to do something on the CKY down time.

Very true man. I was just referring to this before any work of the new album was being done and they weren't touring as down time. I don't know any of them in life so I just figured no tours or no new album announcement as down time, probably not the right word to use.

if anything did come up, im sure it would be all over the board by now. but anyway

Even in a regular job people take time off squakmaster...John said Deron is a work-a-holic when it comes to music so if the others wanted some time off and he didn't, a side-project is a good solution if you ask me. Maybe the band don't always want to either be touring or working on a new album, both of those things are doubtless a lot harder work than you'd think they are.

it definately is a good solution if the band is taking a break. it gives members a chance to try different styles.

but i cant help but wonder if the fight would of happened if chads side project worked out.

chads..."side project" was building the studio that they would record the new record in. he never was doing anything other than that and thought about getting the rudy and blitz stuff out. DERON completely fabricated that part to make himself look less like an ass in the whole thing. i remember thinking what the fuck??? this has nothing to do with jealousy . nothing.

Look, we all know Deron made himself out to be the victim, and Jess on Ask CKY did the opposite. When a fight breaks out everyone wants to look innocent. Since we have no concrete news friends of Deron are gonna be siding with his account and friends of Chad with his. But the truth is even people who personally know Deron or Chad do not necessarily know the full story, just that person's side of it. Only those on the tourbus that night really know what went down. END OF.
