I am going (if you hadn't already heard) and I can confirm that I have now "borrowed" a video camera. Its not a fantastic one but I can record it if no one else manages to.


Edit: According to the small print on the tickets we aren't actually allowed to take 'recording devices'. So you may get a video or some dick security guard may end up with a new camera.

Ok, here's the novel...

Thanks for the text Dylan, first thing I did was go to the signing tent and got my ticket. Then I headed off to the stage where they'd be playing, got front row and attached my banner to the barriers. Made 2 new friends while waiting. I have told them both to find me here. The band loved the banner.

The place was totally packed for cky, even the band before said, we get off the stage so cky can start and that got them the biggest cheer of all - kind of felt sorry for them cause they went all out. Don't know who they were.

Cky came on stage. The setlist was:
Rio
Attached
Flesh
Bite it
96 (dur ner ner dur)
Knee deep

I've probably forgotten something, I have actually, they also played Disengage which was before 96 I think. Or maybe before Bite it. Jess's drum kit kept falling apart during the set.

There were a lot of people who were there who didn't really know cky hence why Chad asked them did they want to hear 96, the dur ner ner dur song.

Of course, at the end of the show, they all came and shook our hands and Daniel seemed very impressed that I knew who he was (I wrote FuCKYeah Daniel - can we keep him?) on it.

The signing as everyone else has been complaining about was a bunch of Bam fans, so much that the real y fans were missing out on tickets to see it. I ended up taking a friend I just met down with me and I got the band to sign his stuff too. They really didn't care that I had more than the required number of things to sign. Although +1 for the signing tent chick who told some Bam slut to wait her turn cause she went straight to Bam while Daniel was taking pics of my banner.

New friend who I got the shirt signed for is going to post up a video and some pics that his gf (may or may not be gf) took. He ought to do this or else hope that he never goes to another cky show where I'm in attendance.

Oh and I got a shitty phone pic of Matty's silly hat before it fell off. That's to come soon. I left early cause I was getting a nice dose of dehydration and realised that I hate slipknot fans and didn't want to have to deal with them any longer.

Oh, and Chad loves the alliance. That probably doesn't need to be said, but you could tell he does love us today (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) All 5 of us who turned up in a cky shirt.
