we have a request thread, "what are you listening to?" thread so i think its time for a suggestion thread. 2 rules: try to post stuff you think we haven't heard of and provide at least one link (mediafire, youtube, bandcamp, etc.) to the bands music. obviously theres gonna be some stuff that others have heard but i dont want this to turn into "YO, YOU HEARD BLINK NEIGHBORHOODS? WHAT ABOUT FOSTER PEOPLE PUMP UP KICKS?" Instead of starting a bunch of threads no one will post in, throw the obscure shit in here.

i approve of both of these. mac dre's "since 84" song is so catchy! some of the only rap i listen to.

as for Blood Orange, i actually checked them out after someone posted it on here. it may have been you, zaphran. ive been listening to that shit so much lately. "sutphin boulevard,' "bad girls," and "the complete knock" are fuckin excellent.

i saw these guys live last week, they put on a stellar show. definitely stole it, because "pretty lights" was the headliner and i enjoyed this band way more. they're called "the big gigantic"...its basically electronic but when they play live, theres a sax player and a drummer. fuckin amazing.
