Class has been awesome this semester. 2 of my electives are philosophy classes where we just talk and barely have any actual work, then I'm taking an astronomy class and a night school class to get an A+ IT certification. I'm planning on going to a 4 year school after this to get some serious work in and get a Bachelor's Degree.

I looooooove not taking chemistry... I'm taking 3 (or 4??) more credits this semester than last semester and I have way more free time than I did when I took my joke of a chemistry lab/had to understand some boring chemistry bullshit.
I am taking a class called "Central Asia Through Russia's Eyes" class though by a teacher from Russia, with a thick accent, not so good english grammar/spelling... which wouldn't be too bad if she didn't mark me down for trivial grammar mistakes that are pretty much preferences in our papers. She says "conquered" as "conquereded" every time. Math is sweet when you learn cool stuff, I'm really liking my programming class even though the actual lectures are boring as fucking hell. So far programming is very straightforward, unlike chemistry where it's a free for all and you need to know exception after exception. And my psychology class is easy while filled with hot chicks. |

I just got my A+ IT certification (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif). I'm working on Security+ now. I performed a sucessful Man in the Middle attack in class last week (to the surprise and slight annoyance of my teacher). I'm glad I know exactly what I want to do at such a young age, and it's something I'm really good at. I just need to do some serious studying in math to get my Bachelor's in Computer Science now and I should be set for an awesome job.

Congrats! It's definitely good to have all that demonstrable experience and skill at a young age. Couple it with that pretty piece of paper they call a diploma and you'll be set.
I'm finished with summer school in two days. It feels nice knocking out two requirements in the span of about six weeks. Got my professional writing requirement out of the way along with my upper level elective (took forensics, fucking awesome class and professor). Three semesters to go, and the last one doesn't really count since it's only gonna be three classes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

I'm finally graduating from my community college with an associates and will be moving into dorm rooms as a 24 year old. I'm kinda freaked out. Excited, but freaked out.
