Awful. I remember reading about his cancer when it was reported a few years ago. I had completely forgotten about it until I saw Facebook posts about MCA. R.I.P.

No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn was one of the first songs I learned on guitar, and I got majorly frustrated because I couldn't get the tone with my practice amp, haha.

So weird that up until about a month ago, I had no idea that Kerry King played on that song.

i remember hearing about his cancer years ago. I assumed he had beaten it.

Sucks to wake up to that news. I love the beastie boys. The Mix Up is one of my fav albums. They dont even speak on that record. Just shows their great musicians besides rappers.

Sad news. Always been a big fan of the Bboys, even as a youngster. Got to see them in 06 and I am super glad I did. Very talented dudes. RIP MCA! Ill Communication is my fav album, so many hits.

Been playing the B-boys non-stop since I heard. I don't have a huge collection, but I love the albums I have. (Ill Communications, Hello Nasty, and an assortment of greatest hits)

It's just unreal. I know it'd be weird for them to go on without him, but it'd be more weird to live in a world without the Beastie Boys.
