Explosions In The Sky is a great instrumental American post-rock band formed in Austin, Texas in 1999. the band includes: Mark Smith (guitar) (IMG:http://www.rectangular.org/explosions/photos/tour/thumbnails/IMG_0005.jpg) Munaf Rayni (guitar) (IMG:http://www.rectangular.org/explosions/photos/tour/thumbnails/IMG_1871.jpg) Michael James (bass/guitar) (IMG:http://www.rectangular.org/explosions/photos/tour/thumbnails/IMG_1848.jpg) Chris Hrasky (drums) (IMG:http://www.rectangular.org/explosions/photos/tour/thumbnails/IMG_1880.jpg) so far, the band has released four albums: EITS Discography: How Strange, Innocence (2000) [300 copies made, re-issued 11 October 2005] Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Forever (2001) The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place (2003) The Rescue (2005) [available for free download on the band's website due to demand of fan's who could not find the album] their music was also used on the soundtrack for the 2004 film, "Friday Night Lights" & a compilation album released by their label "Temporary Residence Limited", the album was titled "The Temporary Residence Ltd. i used to like them alot more, but the last time i listened to them i realized that there really isn't anything special about them.
